CAMDEN BLACK WALNUT FESTIVAL October 18-19, 2025

A popular fall festival in Preble County, the Black Walnut Festival overtakes the village of Camden with streets packed with 125+ arts and crafts vendors, 20+ food trucks, parade, large car & truck show (last year 200+ vehicles!), a fun kid zone, live entertainment in two venues, a beer and wine garden, kiddie tractor pull, Preble Shawnee Student art show and much more. While there, don’t forget to try the Lion’s Club’s famous, hand-cranked-on-site black walnut ice cream!

LEWISBURG DERBY DAYS – August 7-9, 2025

Enjoy some old-fashioned soapbox derby races during this three-day festival in quaint Lewisburg. There’s bingo night, pork chops from the Lion’s Club, a kiddie tractor pull, a cruise-in, motorcycle night, a street dance, and on Saturday, the festival culminates with the races followed that night with a huge fireworks display!

NEW PARIS APPLEFEST – September12-14, 2025

Bring your family and friends to the friendly little Village of New Paris for a two-day fun-filled street fair festival featuring: craft and festival/flea market, vendors, apple baking contest, food vendors and beer garden, games and parade, car and tractor shows, and a kiddie tractor pull!

PREBLE COUNTY PORK FESTIVAL Sept 20-21, 2025

Bring your appetite to the famous Preble County Pork Festival. Browse hundreds of vendors on your way to the smorgasbord or short order lines and see why people travel hundreds of miles to Preble County in late September. The weekend also features entertainment, a petting zoo, and pig races. If you don’t get enough, get some pork to go at the country store!

West Alexandria Celebration Committee

A wonderful Fall Arts and Crafts Festival, held annually in a beautiful community park for 46 years. Come and enjoy a peaceful Fall weekend with handmade crafts and delicious food, much of it home made by local organizations.

Sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club.

OLDE FASHIONED CHRISTMAS IN THE VILLAGE (New Paris) – (Date coming soon)    

Events include:  iceless ice skating, tree lighting, inflatables, letters to Santa, decorating stations, beer garden, photo opportunities, lighted Christmas parade on Friday, Christmas music, food trucks and shopping local shops in New Paris, OH. You can find more info here:

WHITE CHRISTMAS (Eaton) – (Date coming soon)              

Held annually in downtown Eaton the Friday after Thanksgiving to herald in the holiday season. Includes children’s parade to welcome Santa Claus, and closes with a tree lighting ceremony. Usually followed by a preview of the upcoming holiday lighting display at Fort St. Clair, Whispering Christmas.

WHISPERING CHRISTMAS (at Fort St. Clair) – Nov. 28 – Dec. 31, 2025                         

A spectacular display of Christmas lights and one of the best in the tri-state area, Whispering Christmas began in 1987 with just 800 lights. Today the display has grown to over 1.2 million lights. For donation only, take a ride through beautiful Fort St. Clair Park in Eaton for a display you’re sure to want to come back to. Santa will make regular appearances in his cabin!
